23rd June 2011 Windsurfing: WSM Wind Direction: WSW Wind Stength: F5, steady Surf / Sea State: messy, with big waves Air Temperature: 14-16C Sea Temperature: ok Weather: patchy cloud, some sun. Max Speed: Distance Covered: Best day's sailing in years. The wind was consistent rather the the normal gusty crap of latter years. It never dropped. Got a good 3 hours of sailing before the water retreated over the horizon. The waves gave great airtime going out, & some good rides coming back in. Outstanding. Didn't even have to pay to park on the beach, either :-) However, I think my old (read 1999!) Naish 5.5 is in terminal decline. |
